Urban space generally isn’t the first thing we think of when we think of flowers. And yet there is such a thing as a Montreal flora, blooming even in heavily urbanized neighbourhoods like the Centre-Sud.
The Fleurs Sauvages exhibition invites you to become immersed in Montreal’s ethnobotanical heritage through works of art, memory objects, and creative community acts. The exhibition thereby offers a poetic and contemporary glimpse into this little-known aspect of Montreal’s history, one which is very much rooted in our daily landscape.

This project is presented in partnership with the Faculté des arts de l’UQAM.
