Built on the stories of local residents, the exhibition presents the kitchen as the central hub of the home – witness to shared experiences, celebrations, dramas, and solitudes that reflect societal changes. Through sculptural installations, photographs, audio and video recordings, come discover the culture of the Centre-Sud neighbourhood from an all new perspective!

Artists

Linda CôtéBenoît Brousseau  and Jean-François Lachance form a collective of emerging artists who take particular interest in questions of identity – what defines us as a person, a place, or a community? Together, they explore social issues of exclusion, alienation, and abuse of powe through a uniquely poetical lens.

This project is in partnership with the Faculté des arts at UQAM.
